Francesca was born and raised in the south of France before heading to the States for college, trading the Mediterranean coastline for New York winters. Growing up, she was curious about a bit of everything — especially astrophysics, philosophy, and classics — in addition to skiing competitively throughout middle school and high school. She studied Applied Mathematics at Columbia, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude. Most of her time was spent in and around the Mathematics and Computer Science departments, though she is also passionate about visual arts, specifically oil painting, which remains her creative outlet.

Francesca began her career in investment banking at Rothschild & Co. in New York, before moving to Boston to join TA Associates’ financial services and fintech team. It was there that she realized that beyond enjoying being an investor, what she particularly loved was meeting founders early and building relationships with them from inception. Drawn further toward early stage investing and a more clement climate, Francesca transitioned to venture capital in the Bay Area as an investor at Hummingbird, before joining Audacious in February 2026.

Most mornings, you can find her running in the Marina or the Presidio. She’s very much a people person—she gets her energy from being around others and loves bringing friends together, usually over a good glass of wine, which she’s also pretty passionate about.
