Nakul Mandan

Nakul is most inspired by "insanely great" human journeys - How did Jeff Bezos go from a VP on Wall Street to one of the greatest entrepreneurs of all time, dominating not one but multiple industries? What did it take for Rafael Nadal to overcome so many injuries and keep coming back to win grand slams? How did Oprah become Oprah?

At his core, Nakul is a student of greatness. Not surprisingly, his foundational belief about Audacious is that the firm's success singularly relies on the ability to work with truly exceptional founders and help them build exceptional teams.

Nakul founded Audacious in April 2020. Having founded the firm in the first couple of months of COVID lockdowns when institutional capital was truly scarce, Nakul understands the tenacity and brute force it takes to go from zero to one.

Prior to founding Audacious, Nakul was a partner at Lightspeed, where he led the firm's SaaS investment efforts. Over the decade prior to founding Audacious, Nakul led/was involved as an investor in several category defining investments such as Gainsight, People.ai, Multiverse, BuildingConnected, WorkOS, Marketo, 6Sense amongst others.

Nakul grew up in India, and is an undergrad from IIT-Kanpur.
